During the fall, the Colorguard performs and competes along with the Basha Bear Regiment Marching Band. The colorguard provides a huge visual element to the marching program through the use of flags, rifles, sabres and dance. The students work to perfect the choreography that visually enhances the musical element of the marching band performance on the field.

During the winter and spring, the Colorguard becomes the Basha HS Winter Guard, a competitive group that travels to WGAZ competitions in Arizona and WGI competitions in Arizona and California.
