During the fall, the Colorguard performs and competes along with the Basha Bear Regiment Marching Band. The colorguard provides a huge visual element to the marching program through the use of flags, rifles, sabres and dance. The students work to perfect the choreography that visually enhances the musical element of the marching band performance.

During the spring, the Colorguard becomes the Winterguard, a competitive group that travels to WGAZ competitions in Arizona and WGI competitions in Arizona and Nevada.

Basha is also hosting a Youth Colorguard for elementary and junior high students that will be going to Basha High School. This group is called Jubilee. They practice at Basha HS and perform locally at WGAZ events in the Scholastic Regional classification.
